Enabling You to Design Faster, Collaborate Easier and Control Engineering Costs Smarter.

ZW3D

CAD/CAM/CAE

Design machines, plants and parts and machine them in one program

ZW3D is the all-in-one CAD/CAM, easy to learn, that takes you from concept to production: machine and plant design with large assemblies, weldments, piping and wiring, solids and surfaces, molds, sheet metal and 2- to 5-axis CAM.

Why ZW3D

More productivity

Design, simulation and machining in the same program: no file transfers between different software, and products on the market sooner.

Costs under control

Perpetual licences and a single platform from CAD to CAM: you pay only for the functions you need and add modules as your needs grow.

A smooth switch

Opens Catia, NX, Creo, SolidWorks and Rhino files; with tutorials and our direct support you change CAD with minimal effort.

Which ZW3D is right for you

Seven editions, from simple data exchange to complete CAD and CAM. Choose by what you make.

From design...

Solids and surfaces together

Hybrid and parametric modelling in the same model, surfaces with G3 continuity and direct editing for non-parametric models.

Your customers' files

Opens Catia, NX, Creo, Rhino and neutral-format files directly, and repairs open edges, duplicate faces and the other defects of imported models.

Molds and electrodes

The whole plastic mold process: manufacturability analysis, quick parting, standard mold bases, electrodes and automatic drawings.

Sheet metal, structures and simulation

Sheet metal, weldments, piping and wiring, with static, modal, thermal and fatigue structural simulation to check the part before the prototype.

...to CNC machining

2-axis and drilling

Holes, slots and steps recognised automatically to generate drilling cycles and milling toolpaths in a few steps.

3-axis and Volumill roughing

Over 40 3-axis operations, QuickMilling for even finishes and Volumill for roughing that shortens cycle times and uses the full flute length of the cutter.

4 and 5 axes, turning

Indexed and continuous 4- and 5-axis machining, also on STL files, with Swarf, Drive Curve and Flow Cut; internal and external turning, threading and grooving.

Associative and simulated

Toolpaths follow the changes to the model, are fine-tuned with the toolpath editor and checked with full machine simulation.

From CAM to the machine

ZW3D G-code, verified before the first chip

Arolo Venture develops SPP, the post-processor for any controller, and SPC, the simulator that finds collisions and overtravels on your real machine.
