2-axis milling and turning

ZW3D 2x MachiningHoles, slots and profiles, without wasting time.

ZW3D 2x Machining is the CAM for 2- and 2.5-axis machining and turning: it recognises holes, slots and steps on its own, generates drilling cycles and milling toolpaths, verifies them on the solid and writes the G-code for your controller.

Automatic 2-axis milling toolpaths, also on inclined planes.

What you do with ZW3D 2x Machining

Features recognised automatically

Holes, slots, pockets and steps detected on the model to create drilling and milling in a few steps.

2-axis milling and turning

Contouring, pockets, facing, drilling and internal and external turning in the same environment.

Solid verification

The machined part simulated on the stock, and toolpaths fine-tuned with the toolpath editor.

G-code ready

ZW3D post-processor included; with SPP you write the code exactly as your controller wants it.

For workshops and production departments

Plates, flanges, brackets, turned parts: for most of a workshop's parts 2 and 2.5 axes are enough. ZW3D 2x Machining programs them quickly, with a basic CAD to fix the model.

When surfaces and molds come along, you move up to 3x Machining without changing program.

From CAM to the machine, with no touch-ups

SPP turns ZW3D toolpaths into the G-code of your controller, and SPC simulates it on your machine before the first chip.
